A cup of tea with fresh mint
The innovative streamlined form made ofhigh quality ceramics, supplemented by the mortar, fulfilling herethe role of a tea infuser. The form emerged with a view to satisfythe needs of people who savour teas flavoured with subtle notes ofherbs. The mortar is made of glass, dividedinto halves and cut obliquely so that the essence can escape the teainfuser freely. It is closed by the use of magnets. The cup’s handy handle enables thetasting of the sophisticated flavour. The additional cover complements theprocess of infusing and makes the whole out of the form. The project was inspired by the shape, size, angle and proportion of a water molecule.
Project was awarded a distinction in the MAXIM competition ‘Mouth in a cup 2010″
