KIWI Project is a series of forms announcing a new product series of porcelain figurines created for Ćmielów Design Studio. The whole collection represents the interpretation of shape and movement of exotic kiwi bird. Shapes are captured in pure geometric forms, from which a long, distinctive bird beak emerges.
The project was developed in several stages, including: paper use, plaster and 3D printing. The final figures were created in porcelain, which then was hand-painted and glazed. The idea of the project indicates the geometric point of view on nature interpretation and refers to the present trends, without changing the typical gesture, shape and movement of the bird itself.
